He graduated from the University of Salford in Orthotics and Prosthetics and was awarded the “Student of the year award for Clinical Excellence”.
He then went on to obtain a MSc in Musculoskeletal Sciences at UCL based at Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH), where he developed a particular interest in lower limb biomechanics and management of foot and ankle conditions.
Since his completion of his post graduate studies he has worked for three years at Oxford’s Nuffield Orthopaedic Hospital – a centre of excellence in the UK – and as an ad-hoc consultant orthotist in many clinics in London. He has managed multiple complex and simple cases and worked within multi-disciplinary setups, assisted in auditing and improving clinical services in the UK and has been an enthusiastic ambassador of the profession.
He has been regularly invited to give talks and presentations on subjects relating to orthotics such as diabetic footwear and the role of orthotics in children amongst others.
